While
we have never subscribed to the idea that "AGE"
equates to "QUALITY", we do believe that aging is
a process of maturing - learning from the experiences of life
and putting into practice the values we acquire. CAIRO REALTY
COMPANY was founded in 1955 on the precepts of the Code of
Ethics of the National Association of Realtors - the Preamble
of this code is as follows:
"Under All is the Land".
Upon its wise utilization and widely allocated ownership depend
the survival and growth of free institutions and of our civilization.
the REALTOR® should recognize that the interests of the
nation and its citizens require the highest and best use of
the land and the widest distribution of land ownership. They
require the creation of adequate housing, the building of
functioning cities, the development of productive industries
and farms, and the preservation of a healthful environment.
Such interests impose grave social responsibility and a patriotic
duty to which the REALTOR® should dedicate himself/herself,
and for which he should be diligent in preparing himself/herself.
The REALTOR®, therefore, is zealous to maintain and improve
the standards of his/her calling and shares with his/her fellow
REALTOR® a common responsibility for its integrity and
honor. The term REALTOR® has come to connote competency,
fairness, and high integrity resulting from adherence to a
lofty ideal of moral conduct in business relations. No inducement
of profit and no instruction from clients ever can justify
departure from this ideal. In the interpretation of his/her
obligation, a REALTOR® can take no safer guide than that
which has been handed down through the centuries, embodied
in the Golden Rule - "Whatsoever ye would that men should
to do you, do ye even so to them."
The history of America is the history of a people determined
to be free, and it is a history that has been dearly purchased.
It is the quest of a dream born in the vision of the Pilgrims
and followed in the mighty struggle of Colonial Revolution.
A dream enshrined for all to see in a Declaration of Independence,
a Constitution and a Bill of Rights. Documents of a people
free to think their own thoughts, pursue their own dreams
- to share their own destiny and to plant roots in land of
their own. It is this land of America that is the soil of
America's economy. Upon it walk the workers - in factories
and on the farms. Upon it live approximately 300 million men,
women, and children. Upon it stand America's homes, her schools,
her machine, her mills. And from it comes the wealth of food
and fabric that have made America the envy of every other
nation on earth.
In truth . . . UNDER ALL IS THE LAND!
Our goal remains the same in 2008 as it was in 1955 - to
provide quality service to our clients and customers. We appreciate
the continued opportunity to help make your goals become reality.
